Children of the corn.

So corn is something that you and I may eat every now and then. If you're in the East Coast USA like me then you're going to be enjoying corn as summer is almost here and the grocery stores are pretty much forcing corn down your throat...sometimes literally. However, if you're in North Korea, you're probably not reading this and you're probably starving. Why? Because in North Korea, the only thing they've been eating lately is corn...that they grew.
However, now the corn is gone and the only corn available is the corn that's being grown which means there's no corn...or food for that matter. Why? reasons were given like the climate, the amount of corn, but no one said anything about the country's leader being a delusional moron. I mean really, what's the first thing in your International Economics class that you learn? Country's trade, not because they want to, but because they have to. If the only thing your raggedy country has is corn, then you might want to trade other livestock so that you can make money off of your corn and your people can have options(time for a knowledge sigh. say it with me: "ahhhhhh i see"). In this case, North Korea has an absolute advantage when it comes to corn allowing it to export to countries who do not have as much capitol.....anyway before I get too cerebral. We just have to see what happens in the vacuum we all know as North Korea. Currently the World Food Program is deliberating possibly offering food...Not like he'll turn it down...right???
