Conviction=VICTORY

VICTORY VICTORY VICTORY. It has finally happened. A 16 year old teenager was convicted in the death of the Chicago honor student whose fatal beating was captured on video September of last year. Many of you may remember the teenager who did not want to join a gang and because of it became bait for teenagers when he was just walking home from school. He was beaten with wooden shafts until he died while many teenagers just stood by. If you don't remember or weren't informed, there's a video below (Courtesy: ABC News) to jog your memory.

Well today, justice showed that his death was not in vain when a 15 year old (whose name was not released, because he is a juvenile) was convicted of the crime. His sentencing is in January. According to CNN when his fate was announced he threw his hands up and fell into his chair while his aunt ran out of the courtroom.
Hm...Ran out of the court room huh? where was she when he was running the streets? Did she run anywhere then? and why can't a brutal murderer's name be released? At 15 we all know that he knew EXACTLY what he was doing...but that's just me. Am I being too harsh?
