Larry King "Hangs His Suspenders'

Tonight is the last episode of Larry King Live. After tonight, the timeslot will belong to America's Got Talent judge Piers Morgan. Though Morgan is said to have done serious journalism before and is quite respectable at his craft, I must admit, its unfair to compare him to the King (no pun intended). Imagine: The suspenders wearing genious has been informing us for over 25 YEARS. A lot of us have gotten used to his presence at 9pm. Wether or not you change the channel, you must admit, you're used to him. So what does this mean about news or foreign affairs? I have to say, if not for Larry King there would be limited if any opinion journalism about political issues not to talk of foreign affairs issues. We would be getting the same repetitious details throughout the day. Larry King provided round table opinions,a forum from which we could all voice the effect the news had on us. So tonight will be quite entertaining. Don't forget to tune in to CNN! You can count on EVERYONE in TV being there, lots of tributes, sappy Thank yous and yes maybe even crying. In any case, this is an airing we should all be sure not to miss.
